Just a note to mention that, while they are called Max and Sally in the English version, the two protagonist s given names are never mentioned in the original Czech Mach and ebestov are they family names.I bought this book during my first trip to Prague in 1990, I didn t speak any Czech but I loved the illustrations, over they years I read it little by little and now I can enjoy also the text reread cover to cover in January 2015
